The Wonder of Your Love

You inhabit the praises of Your people
You delight in the glory of Your son
In the love of the Father we will worship
In the Kingdom of God we find our home

The wonder of Your love
Will break the chains of bondage
The power of Your cross
Releases us to worship

Sing out to God Sing Hallelujah
With all we are we will worship You
Holy is Your name
Holy is Your name oh God

And together we’ll lift the name of Jesus
And together we’ll sing of Your great love
We will join with the angels and praise You
May our voices be pleasing to You God

-----------

Indeed, how wonderful is His love.
Without His love, where would we be now?
Without His guidance, would we still be in our current healthy state?
Without His faithfulness, would we still be motivated to carry on living?

Sometimes, we ask 'God, where are You?'
But what we don't realize is, God has always been with us.
Instead of asking that question ourselves, God should be asking 'Child, where are You?'
What we don't realize is we are the one who chose not to be with God, not the other way round.

Jeremiah 29:13-14 - And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.

Indeed, as we seek, we'll find God.
When you feel as if God has left you, why not try seeking God again?

Mustard Seed Faith

As I was walking out of home,
I realized that my sinus attack came back once again.
The moment I stepped out of the door,
My whole life began to change.
Well, of course it is exaggerated.
I could feel that my running nose was triggered.
Mucus flowed out slowly,
I began to sweat cold sweat, (the weather was fine, neither hot nor cold)
I knew this was it.

As I was walking to the MRT station,
I remembered about Uncle Melvin's sharing on Saturday.

Luke 17:6 - So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

So, I opened my heart for healing with faith as a mustard seed.
After some time, I could feel the power of God flowing through my body.
True enough, I was healed at that very moment!
I could enter the air-conditioned train without worries;
I could walk out of the train without more worries;
I could enter the auditorium without tissue papers!

Indeed, God's grace is sufficient for us;
His power is made perfect in our weakness.
Have we been relying on God recently?
Are we placing our trust and faith in God to do (the right) things for us?
If you haven't been, give it a try.
Taste and see that the Lord is good for yourself.

Sacrifice

Time to time, we make sacrifices here and there.
We give up things that are dear to us in order to spend time with God.
We give up things that hold significance just for that extra bit with God.
What exactly is a sacrifice?

It ain't a sacrifice if it doesn't cost you anything.
It is only a sacrifice when you give up something that costs you something.

Jesus was the perfect example.
By coming down to planet Earth, it already cost God something.
It was as if God just gave up everything he had just for us.
Jesus's life was the perfect sacrifice.
Sin was defeated when Jesus died on the cross.
How far would we be right here on earth if we didn't have Jesus in our lives?

Romans 12:1 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

If God gave His life for us, why can't we?

Ignite Our Hearts

Oh Great and Mighty One
Would You come in our midst
We crave for Your presence
We want to be with You
We seek and find You
With a hunger in our hearts
That you would come down
To the planet You once walked

Oh Lord

All we have is Yours
Come fill our cups
We need You here

Humbly before you
We want our hearts on fire
Humbly before you
We ask for a revival
Look in our hearts
We have one desire
We just want You to be with us

We will worship You
With our heart and our soul
We will worship You
In Spirit and in Truth
We will worship You
At the cry of our hearts
We will worship
We will worship
We will worship You

Taking Control

There were times when we thought we could overcome obstacles by ourselves.
There were times when we thought we could go through each day by ourselves.
There were times when we thought we could sort things out by ourselves.
But we were wrong.
Very wrong.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

It is only through Christ that strongholds will be broken
It is only through Christ that gives us strength to live for the day.
It is only through Christ that organizes our lives for us because He has a plan for us.

We will want Christ to take the wheel of our lives.
Let Him control our lives;
Let us have faith in Him;
That we may see His will for us.
