Time to time, we make sacrifices here and there. Labels: mirrorimage
We give up things that are dear to us in order to spend time with God.We give up things that hold significance just for that extra bit with God.What exactly is a sacrifice?
It ain't a sacrifice if it doesn't cost you anything.It is only a sacrifice when you give up something that costs you something.
Jesus was the perfect example.By coming down to planet Earth, it already cost God something.It was as if God just gave up everything he had just for us.Jesus's life was the perfect sacrifice.Sin was defeated when Jesus died on the cross.How far would we be right here on earth if we didn't have Jesus in our lives?
Romans 12:1 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
If God gave His life for us, why can't we?
